GTA 6 : 19 november 2026 Released and pricing official updates today 

Official updates regarding the release date, pricing, and marketing plans for GTA 6 have been shared by the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games.

In February, Take-Two confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on November 19th, with marketing efforts beginning this summer. Additionally, they’ve announced that physical editions will be available at the time of release.

GTA 6 is generating more excitement than any other video game ever, with gamers eagerly following every piece of news—leaks, rumors, trailers, pre-order details, and gameplay reveals.

In terms of official announcements regarding the release date, pricing, and marketing, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, which is the parent company of Rockstar Games, recently addressed these topics during a panel at iicon, a new conference for video game executives.

During the recent panel, Zelnick commented (via IGN): "I think a lot of people will be calling in sick on 19 November." This date marks the expected release of GTA 6, and his statement is an encouraging indication that the game is still on track.

He also mentioned that GTA 6 is unlikely to come with the high price tag that some previous rumors have suggested. "Consumers pay for the value that you bring to them, and our job is to charge much less than the value we deliver," he explained. "We focus on how we can deliver something amazing and ensure that what people pay feels very reasonable."

When it comes to the marketing for GTA 6, Zelnick kept details under wraps, but he did assure that it would begin "soon," according to Game File.

Zelnick was asked about the future of the LA Noire IP and responded, "Generally, we're exploring opportunities with all our intellectual properties, but there's nothing specific to announce right now." 

He clarified that any official news would come from Rockstar rather than Take-Two directly. 

"Our focus is on creating the most incredible entertainment experience in history—it's a daunting challenge. If we succeed in serving our customers, the benefits will naturally follow." 

He also jokingly noted that he has a hunch many people might be calling in sick on November 19. 

In a lighter moment, Zelnick offered a glimmer of hope for L.A. Noire enthusiasts by hinting that a sequel might be possible down the line.

“We’re definitely considering future opportunities with our intellectual property,” he mentioned. “There’s nothing specific to share about L.A. Noire right now, and if there were, it would come directly from Rockstar. However, concerning our legacy IP, our teams are continuously evaluating what we have, and we keep it at the forefront of our thoughts. The key factor is whether we have a team that's genuinely excited to take that on at any given moment.”
